Men of Steel

Men of Steel -- I could not not write about this book. When I was a student reading books was all too common. Text books, reference books and if time permitted - fiction, non-fiction and those Jackie Collins, Jane Eyre, Penguin series and even those never-can-happen-in-real doctor-nurse and boss-secretary romance. And then came the big lull in this reading space. Newspapers everyday. Magazines once in a while. And it seemed to just end there. Committing for a 200 pages of read seemed just too much.

Then came this Men of Steel. It was like a collection of short stories but about successful people on India. It had Ratan Tata, Vijay Mallya, Bikki Oberoi and DhiruBhai .... I think a total of 13 men of steel. A good read it was. Very crisp, kept me reading until I reached the end. Wow! I was back. I could read a book in one go!

The book is amazing. It is a compilation of Veer Sanghvi's interviews with these biggies. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in Indian Corporate.

Then on ... I have continued my reading spree. I definitely start reading books. Now if I do not finish it, it is not my fault. It is the author. The book was not worth it!
